What they said

We are delighted to have appointed The ArtsLink to develop and run our entire education programme, including the first ever official WICKED WORKSHOPS (with experiences in drama, singing, musical theatre, dance and anti-bullying), as well as to relaunch our our philanthropic programme, WICKED: FOR GOOD,  which is now connecting us with five carefully selected and remarkable charities. The ArtsLink is also now running the WICKED YOUNG WRITER AWARDS and our annual charity fundraising event, WICKED DAY, as well as expanding our on-going engagement with both The National Literacy Trust and The Woodland Trust.

Executive Producer, WICKED UK

Based on the international best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire that ingeniously re-imagined the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, WICKED tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the WICKED Witch of the West.
Acclaimed as “one of the greatest musicals of our time” (Daily Mail) and “one of the West End’s best-loved shows” (OfficialLondonTheatre.com), WICKED has now been seen by over 7 million people in London alone and recently played its 3800th performance at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
Around the world, WICKED has been seen by 50 million people in 13 countries and won 100 international awards. The original Broadway production remains “Broadway’s biggest blockbuster” (The New York Times) after 12 years at the Gershwin Theatre.

WICKED is produced by: Marc Platt, Universal Stage Productions, The Araca Group, Jon B. Platt and David Stone. Executive Producer (UK): Michael McCabe.
