Branagh Theatre Live: Romeo and Juliet - Education Resources

From May to August 2016, the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company presented their production of Romeo And Juliet as part of their 2016 season Plays at The Garrick.

Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh directed Richard Madden and Lily James as Romeo and Juliet, Derek Jacobi as Mercutio and Meera Syal as The Nurse, in Shakespeareʼs heartbreaking tale of forbidden love.

Captured on and broadcast to cinemas live on July 7, the production has been made available to schools across the UK for the entire 2016/17 academic year via participating cinemas. To book your trip, visit: Picturehouse Education

Education resources, built in consultation with teachers, have been compiled and written by The ArtsLink and Picturehouse Education to support your visit to a screening of Romeo and Juliet at the cinema.
